Open stitching the heart of the Canadian Rockies !!!
THE RETREAT IS A GO !!!!!!
So far we are 6 stitchers and have decided that if the retreat doesn’t sell out, that we still want the retreat to happen!!! Therefore, I have deleted the mandatory retreat cancellation fee that the lodge would have charged us (please note if you join and need to cancel, the participant cancellation policy is still in effect).
Also, please note that the prices are all inclusive for your room, and that ALL MEALS are also included (12 of them !). Even though we are a captive audience, the lodge provides high quality food for their guests …! If you have dietary restrictions, the lodge is happy to accommodate them!
Single occupancy is available and please deduct CAD 300.00 from the price.
I am also accepting USA currency via paypal for USA residents ! I will do the exchange rate calculation at the time you would like to book !

RETREAT INFO
This beautiful lodge is located in Kananaskis Country in Alberta (which does not require the purchase of a park pass), and is 2 hours away from Calgary, 1 hour away from the town of Banff, and 35 minutes away from the town of Canmore. The lodges website is “mountengadine.com”
FYI – Spouses are welcomed, however as mentioned above the lodge is located in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, and is not located in a town.
There’s a lot to say, so it’s a long read !!! PLEASE read all as there is important info about the weather, lodge location, and non-refundable payments & cancellations policies.
ROOM UPDATE (as of Dec 18 2017)
Available Rooms & Prices:
1) Eagle Room: CAD 1455.00 (1 King or 2 Twins)
2) Elk Room: CAD 1560.00 (1 Queen and Pullout)
3) Burstall Room: CAD 1485.00 (1 Queen)
4) Birdwood Room: CAD 1485.00 (1 Queen)
5) Whiskey Jack Room: CAD 1850.00 for 2 persons, CAD 2190.00 for 3 persons, CAD 2550.00 for 4 persons (1 Queen AND 1 King, or 1 Queen AND 2 Twins)
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (Yipppeee for the USA residents), and include the following:
– 3 nights stay
– All taxes and gratuities
– All meals (3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 afternoon teas with snacks, and 3 suppers)
– Gate closure for May 9 & 10. This means that the lodge will be closed to the public for these 2 days for our event if the retreat is sold out.

Rooms are reserved on a first come basis with the NON REFUNDABLE deposit as described in the terms & conditions listed below near end of page.
Single occupancy is available. For single occupancy, please deduct CAD 300.00 on the above prices.
Prices look expensive, however all meals (12) and taxes, etc, are included as mentioned above – and if you take this into account, the rooms rates are very good for staying in a lodge in the middle of the Rocky Mountains !!!
FYI:
– No TV in rooms
– No Telephone in rooms
– WIFI in some rooms and common area
– No personal alcohol in lodge except in your room. All alcohol consumed in the common areas & during the meals MUST BE PURCHASED from the lodge
– Mt Engadine lodge is located on a gravel road and is accessible by car
– At this time of year, more than likely you will encounter winter conditions (please ask me if you have any questions or concerns about Mountain weather)
– Water or Coffee or purchased drinks will be allowed in the stitching area – please ensure that you have a covered cup or mug or water bottle
– Our meals will be served in the stitching area; however, there is room to move our stitching to another spot while we eat
– The lodge is located 2 hours from Calgary, 1 hour from the town of Banff, and 35 minutes from the town of Canmore.
Terms & Conditions:
– All prices are in Canadian Dollars
– Payments are accepted via paypal for USA residents or other countries’ residents (minus paypal fees)
– For Canadian residents, I will accept e-transfers
– CAD 800.00 due upon booking NON-REFUNDABLE
– The balance of the price due Feb 1, 2018 NON-REFUNDABLE
– If you need to cancel, you will only receive a refund (minus paypal/banking fees) if I can find a replacement that has paid in accordance with the above payment schedule.
– VERY IMPORTANT – If we don’t sell out the retreat, then we will need to put our stitching away during the afternoon tea sittings as the lodge will be opened to the public for afternoon tea. Since it is mid-week, it is most probable that they don’t get a lot of outside people coming for tea.
