If you love to stitch and you love to travel, come aboard the 2018 Stitchers' Escapes Cruise to three beautiful cities in northern Europe!
We’ll begin our third annual Stitchers’ Escapes Cruise in Southampton, UK and travel to three memorable cities: Hamburg, Germany; Oslo, Norway; and Bruges, Belgium aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas. And before the cruise, we’ll explore London and take classes at the Royal School of Needlework.
Day 1: Come aboard / Southampton, England
Day 2: Cruising, classes, and casual stitching!
Day 3: Hamburg, Germany
Day 4: Cruising, classes, and casual stitching!
Day 5: Oslo, Norway
Day 6: Cruising, classes, and casual stitching!
Day 7: Bruges, Belgium
Day 8: Disembark at Southampton
Bring a project of your own choosing, enjoy the cruise stitch-along project, and take classes from any of our onboard teachers: our group leader, designer, and teacher, Jean Farish; Kelly Clark, nationally known needlepoint teacher; and Maureen Appleton, the ultimate teacher of "over one" cross stitch and silk gauze deisgn. You’ll have lots of choices among counted thread and needlepoint classes. Stitchers of all levels are welcome! Kelly, Maureen, and Jean are the kinds of teachers who can make beginners comfortable and experienced stitchers challenged. Onboard, we will have a dedicated space for our classes and casual stitch time in the ship’s conference center. This is our very own space and we will put it to good use!
