Ok..so now on to the juicy details of the Reno retreat that I know you are just dying to find out about!
When and Where
When: June 15th-18th, 2020. There will be a meet and greet at the hotel on the evening of June 15th and then the event itself will run 3 full days from 9am-5am June 16th, 17th and 18th.
Where: Circus Circus Hotel located at 500 N Sierra St, Reno, NV 89501
We will have a Meet and Greet with snacks on Monday, June 15th from 6pm to 10pm. The room being used for the Meet and Greet will be available all day starting around 8am that Monday morning for anyone that comes in either Sunday or sometime on Monday and wants a place to stitch.
There will be 2 full days of stitching and classes (at least one class is in the planning now, but there could be more) on Tuesday and Wednesday with door prize giveaways and other fun activities.
Then on Thursday, it’s just stitching. Normally the last day of the retreat is just a half day and wraps up around noon, but we have the space for a full day on Thursday so it will be open to sit and stitch for anyone that is not leaving early on Thursday or not leaving until Friday.

Wednesday, June 17th – 1-2:30 – max 15 (if class fills up, an additional class can be scheduled)
We all know how expensive framing can get!
In this class you will learn the very basics of how to do your own framing using standard size frames. Fae will show both the pinning and lacing techniques. You will need to bring a finished cross stitch that can be framed in a 5×7 frame or if you don’t have anything that size, you can bring a piece of fabric to just practice and learn with. All supplies will be provided to mount your cross stitch onto the foamcore and to be ready to put in a frame. If you want to completely finish the framing in class, you will need to bring your own frame.
I do sincerely hope you will join us for what I PROMISE will be a great time! You will meet so many great people that share this obsession…oops..I mean hobby…ha ha! 🙂
If you have ANY questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to reach out to me, Fae Kuhn on Facebook or send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope to see you in Reno!!
